It describes how all organisations can gain real benefit through the integration of Oracle BI 11g and Oracle Data Mining.

As well as providing an overview of Oracle Data Mining, it provides details of a "Higher Education" demonstration where Universities can use Oracle BI and Data Mining to predict which students are likely to withdraw early from their courses - something which could help them to save potentially tens or hundreds of thousands in lost revenue:
