This is a recorded demonstration of how the "Exalytics" BI Machine can be used to dramatically improve dashboard performance on-the-fly without any system downtime.

The Exalytics "Summary Advisor" is a new component of Oracle BI 11g which will capture user activity over time and then make a set of recommendations for building a layer of aggregates in the TimesTen "in-memory" database cache (an important feature of the Exalytics platform).

Not only does the Summary Advisor make the recommendations, it will also build and populate the aggregates and then deploy them into Oracle BI 11g so that they immediately become available to the end users, without requiring any restart of services!
